Eris Exchange, LLC and its affiliates (the "Exchange" or “we") have adopted and implemented this privacy policy (the "Policy"), which outlines how we collect, use, disclose, and protect the information we gather from this web site (the "Site"). While we strive to take reasonable measures to protect your privacy, this Policy is not a contract and does not create any legal rights or obligations. Rather, this Policy merely reflects guidelines setting forth our intended business activities.
Please note that information gathered in connection with any services provided via the Site may be governed by separate terms and conditions including, but not limited to, the Exchange User License Agreement, the Exchange Rules, and the Participant Agreement (collectively referred to herein as "Other Terms"). In the event that you receive such services, you agree that those Other Terms shall supersede any conflicting terms contained in this Policy.
Collection and Use of Information by the Exchange
The Exchange may collect information from you while you are visiting our Site. Some of this information is collected automatically through various methods including, but not limited to “cookies” and web beacons. Cookies and web beacons are files that are placed on your web browser when you visit the Site. The information collected by such methods includes the pages you view on our Site, the search terms you enter into our search utility, your IP address and the operating system, browser software and Internet service provider you use. Children
The Site is not intended for children under eighteen (18) years of age. The Exchange does not market any products or services to children under eighteen (18) years of age or knowingly collect any information from children under eighteen (18) years of age.
Postings/Instant Messaging
Postings by visitors on any message board or in any chat room (other than instant messaging conversations facilitated by the Exchange) will not be protected as confidential. The Exchange may use any such postings on the Site, any content thereof, and any information derived from any such postings (including any ideas, concepts, know-how or other intellectual property) ("Postings"). Disclosure of Information to Third Parties
The Exchange may disclose your personally identifiable information to non-affiliated companies that perform support services for the Site or facilitate your transactions with the Exchange, including those that provide professional, legal or accounting advice to the Exchange.
